Broken rod tip, no problem repair!, May 26, 2011

Had not broken a rod in 15+ yrs. till 2 weeks ago. My favorite light action rod and med action rods. Fuji's Rod Repair Kit is truly a rod saver. In 2 minutes flat my rod had a new tip although 3" shorter. The guides are great, but I ended up using Super Glue Gel instead of the hot glue. The hot glue just did not hold strong, The Super Glue Gel has done the trick for 2nd year running now!

I was really upset when I broke the tip off of my favorite Bass pro 14-million modulus 7' medium action Carbon rod last year. I broke it right down before the second ring guide down from the tip. I was able to cut that guide off and use one of the replacement tips. Installation was easy. I bought a black set to match my rod color, and it looks like it was never broken. This product was a great find!
